Kiran Rao has created a magic with refreshing touch without big stars, big sets and costumes. A must watch movie for everyone. If you haven’t had a good laugh in a long time then this movie is for you. Without tossing around the word ‘feminist’, Missing Ladies showcases the social issues of women and the problems they face. About which people avoid talking till date. Missing Ladies promises a ride of various emotions. This film is going to be released in theatres on March 1 and now available on Netflix.
Movies is about two newly married couples board the train. Both the brides have a big veil on their faces. How these two get lost in a hurry to get off the train and what happens after that is the story. You couldn’t guess much about the story from the trailer and we won’t tell you either because you should definitely go to the cinema hall for such movies.
Kiran Rao is truly the hero of the film. Her direction is perfect. She has worked well on every small detail in the film. Her hard work is visible in everything from the situation to the set. All three actors of the film are new. Nitanshi Goyal has played the character of Phool. Pratibha Ranta has also brought life into her character. She looks so perfect that you don’t feel that she is acting. You don’t even realize when she teaches you something.
Ram Sampath’s music makes this wonderful film even more wonderful. The songs are apt for the situation and take the pace of the film forward. When the songs come, they are fun. They don’t become boring. Overall, you must watch this film. A simple film will tell you a lot. It will give you a lot.
